well my friends, the hazy and romantic days of summer have arrived. this will be my last entry for quite a while. the painting trip of a lifetime shared with my mom in the tuscan countryside is near. every time i think of it, my heart beats so loudly i think it might burst right through my shirt! these last few months i’ve saturated my mind with books about the food, the art and the beauty of the countryside that i can almost set foot into my visuals. what i remember most about italy is the feeling of a homecoming there. and i’m ready to answer the wonder that wants to know what has changed about her from my first time visiting as a teenager. i’m so giddy giddy that i don’t have to rely on my daydreams anymore. i’ll be there in real time. and i’ll be sure to share my travels with you when i return.
when i return…let’s just say this is a summer of events! (one involves a transition to the sun) but more about that later. for now, i wish you all an equally wonderful time enjoying summer, kiss kiss!
