my heart goes out to those in blacksburg tonight. a friendly town near my own college stomping grounds, i immediately put myself as a student again when i think of the place. and i can’t even imagine. my dear virginia, prayers are with you.
i am reminded of the awe in the wonder of forgiveness that the amish recently displayed when faced in similiar situation of suddenly losing their loved ones. may we all be so brave and able to overcome evil with such purity.

i was sitting in airports yesterday watching the story on every television i passed… and the mood was so very sombre. my heart goes out to everyone involved.
your words are simple and true and just what I needed to hear. thank you.
Bravo Jenny for reminding us of the Amish. Where our country goes wrong, there are so many examples of where we go right. I am so proud of the Amish reaction to their tragedy. They provide excellent examples.
their capacity to forgive just astonishes me and makes me think of all that previals even beyond death.
