So I began doing the two things that clear my mind: organizing and painting.  I finally went to bed around 2 in the morning with an immaculate studio and a landscape of Scout’s resting place.

He lived eleven love filled years (which, according to my sister, is 77 in dog years) and spent many of those days running and swimming at the lake.  He made me a dog person when I thought a cat person could never go the other way.  He was a beautiful member of the family and he will be missed.
